Position SummaryIn an efficient manner, start up, operate and shut down spray lines and metal prep equipment. Make minor adjustmentsto equipment and solutions (t itration's, viscosities). Schedule workload and maintain quality records and control points ofrelated equipment.ResponsibilitiesJOB RESPONSIBILITIES Read, interpret, and manage manufacturing documentation (prints, routers, etc.) to ensure production ofconforming products Set up and operate manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming,adhesive application, and related preparation activities Clean products as required Complete all paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and proper product movement andcontrol Verify all equipment and materials used are compliant with procedures Proactively improve area processes, procedures, and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaborationwith area leadership and Engineering Ensure proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste Perform all required preventive maintenance activities Assist in preparing for and participate in all required area audits Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures Perform weekly preventative maintenance on equipment Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Communicates effectively with management and coworkers, fostering strong relationships and a team-orientedenvironment Flexible with work assignments and willing to perform any function as needed Dependable and available to work overtime when required Reads and comprehends drawings, blueprints, and Manufacturing Work Instructions Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook Self-motivated; works effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs (approximately 50% of the time), and capable of standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and using hands/fingers to handle tools, parts, and equipment EDUCATION REQUIRED High School Diploma or Equivalent WORK EXPERIENCE 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment LANGUAGES REQUIRED Ability to read, write, and speak English.Conditions of EmploymentThis position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.Parker HannifinParker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
