Main Areas of Responsibility:
The primary function of this position is to be responsible for implementing SAP FICO General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Taxation, and Fixed Assets functionalities.
The Specialist will lead the implementation of all the above modules as part of the S4HANA Finance Transformation project, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems like Kyriba, Concur, Agiloft, Blackline.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP S4HANA Finance, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Taxation, and Fixed Assets, with a preferred background in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP GL, Accounts Payables, Taxation, and Fixed Assets within the S4HANA Finance Transformation project.
Requirement Analysis
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements independently (Mandatory skill)
Ability to drive design workshops independently with the client (Mandatory skill)
Must be able to prepare the preread materials for the design workshops independently (Mandatory skill)
Must send out the Meeting Minutes of the Workshop post each workshop that he/she leads (Mandatory skill)
Follow-up on the action items from the workshops
System Configuration
Configure SAP GL, Accounts Payables, Taxation, and Fixed Assets modules
Design solutions that maximize out-of-the-box features and minimize customizations
Provide technical guidance to product owners, functional teams, testing teams, compliance, and other development team members
Integration
Ensure smooth integration of the above S4HANA modules with Kyriba, Concur, Agiloft, Blackline
Documentation
Must be able to create Functional Design Docs (FDDs) and Functional Specifications to address fit-gaps via RICEFW developments independently
Ensure industry and technology best practices are followed for development work
Testing and Validation
Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate system functionality and performance
Training and Support
Provide training and support to end-users ensuring they are proficient in using the new system
Change Management
Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems
Post-Go-Live Support
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation to ensure system stability and user satisfaction
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP Finance. At least 5 years in SAP S4HANA Finance (GL/AR/AP/Tax/Fixed Assets/Bank Accounting)
Strong understanding of the financial services industry. Experience in Seed Accounting is a plus
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SAP S4HANA Finance, SAP Accounts Payables, Taxation, Fixed Assets, and related modules
Experience with S4 FICO and integration with Kyriba, Concur, Agiloft, Blackline
Analytical Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Communication
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Certifications
SAP certification in S4HANA Finance is highly desirable
Travel
Must be flexible to travel to client place
Preferred Skills:
Basic understanding and knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 150,000 to 170,000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
