The Fleet Administrative Assistant provides crucial administrative and clerical support to the Fleet Department, ensuring the efficient operation of fleet activities. This role is essential for maintaining accurate records, processing data in fleet management systems, and assisting with departmental purchasing and timekeeping functions.

Responsibilities

Enter and update vehicle, equipment, and asset data in fleet management and tracking systems.

Maintain organized filing systems for fleet records, titles, and registration documents.

Process and track tag and registration purchases for fleet vehicles.

Assist with ordering department supplies, parts, and services as needed.

Enter departmental time and attendance data accurately for payroll and reporting purposes.

Communicate with vendors and internal departments to support fleet processes.

Support general administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and record retention.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience providing expert-level administrative support.

Experience entering and updating vehicle, equipment, and asset data in fleet management and tracking systems.

Experience maintaining organized filing systems for fleet records, titles, and registration documents.

Proficiency in scheduling coordination and data entry.

Familiarity with large data sets and Excel database management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Fleet management exposure is a plus but not required.

Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to determine daily priorities.

Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation.

Coachable and open to learning.

Bachelor's degree required for candidates seeking full-time conversion - any discipline.

Comfortable with constant changes and ambiguity.

Work Environment

The role requires working in the office four days a week, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, suitable for individuals who can adapt to changing conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Forest Park, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
