2 nd Shift Mechanical Assembly

Responsibilities:

Mount finished lenses into frames, securing them using hand tools like screwdrivers and pliers ensuring proper optical alignment and orientation.

Verify lens power, axis, and prism using lensometers; check for surface defects (scratches, coatings).to ensure they meet, prescriptions specifications.

Adjust, replace, or repair broken frames and lenses

Use precision instruments (calipers, lensometers) to measure and verify alignment and prescriptions on lenses

Ensure a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency.

Keep accurate records of production goals

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

3+ years of mechanical assembly experience

Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Physical stamina to stand or bend for long periods, working with small parts and handling light to moderate lifting.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong ability to interpret technical work orders prescriptions, drawings and specifications.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members

Schedule Needed:

Monday through Friday 3:30 pm-12:00 am.

Pay Details: $20.25 per hour
