Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21 - $24 per hour, based on experience.

Shift available: 7am - 3:30pm ; Monday - Friday

What's a typical day as a Blast Technician? You'll be:

Operating blasting equipment to strip coatings and surface contaminants from railcar bodies and large surface areas.

Preparing surfaces for painting or coating while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Loading and unloading materials into the blasting booth hoppers.

Adjusting and monitoring abrasive flow settings on blasting machines.

Cleaning and maintaining blasting tools and booth area.

Communicating surface preparation status to leads and supervisors.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus).

Bring 2+ years of experience in blasting or industrial surface preparation.

Understand abrasive materials, blasting tools, and proper safety procedures.

Can follow work instructions and read blueprints effectively.

Are comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Possess strong attention to detail and take pride in your craftsmanship.

Can work independently or as part of a team.
