General Production Worker

Position Overview

The General Production Worker is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing and production operations. This role involves operating equipment, assembling products, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

Inspect products for quality and report defects or issues

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

Load and unload materials or finished goods as needed

Assist with inventory, stocking, and movement of materials

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required)

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production (a plus)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Basic math and measurement skills

Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

Work Environment

Manufacturing or warehouse setting

Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment

May require overtime, weekends, or shift work depending on production needs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason City, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
