Description Trident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. Job Summary: TheSeasonal Seafood Processorprocesses seafood productsby performing the following duties: Essential Functions: Checks/verifiesmaterials and amounts to be weighed, measured or counted and places items into theappropriate containers. Removes Product from platforms/conveyors and packs into preformed pouches or boxes. Set upoperateand monitormachinery used in the productionprocess, orassistmachine operators. Record production data such as the ingredientsused,temperature. Weightsand timesaccording to Standard Operating Procedures. Fills hoppers of automated system with correct ingredients using vacuum assist for lifting bags. Disassembles and reassembles the production line and equipment as necessary for cleaning. Cleans and Sanitizes production equipment, tools, and work area per Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP)while wearing required PersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPE) Acquiresknowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions. Notifiesdesignated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safety trainings. Thisrole is non-exempt at $18.65 to $18.65 per hour. Minimum Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Must have worked at our Motley, MN plant as a seafood processor within the last 12 months. Preferred Qualifications: 6 monthsexperience in food manufacturing HS Diploma or equivalent Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders to elevated platforms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves objects regularly up to 5 pounds frequently up to 25 pounds occasionally up to 30 pounds.
