Job Title: Deburring Technician

Job Description

As a Deburring Technician, you will be responsible for grinding and deburring aerospace metal parts using hand grinders, pneumatic tools, and other bench equipment. You will polish and break edges to meet engineering and surface-finish requirements, ensuring that parts meet customer and internal specifications.

Responsibilities

Grind and deburr aerospace metal parts using hand grinders, pneumatic tools, and other bench equipment.

Polish and break edges to meet engineering and surface-finish requirements.

Remove excess material such as tabs or extra stock using basic power tools like bandsaws.

Check surface finish and dimensions to ensure parts meet customer and internal specifications.

Collaborate with Quality on First Article Inspections when needed.

Utilize specialized deburring tools for special projects or approved processes.

Essential Skills

At least 3 years of experience in deburring within the aerospace environment.

Mechanically inclined with a back ground in general production, fabrication, and mechanical operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

ERP Knowledge is a plus.

You will work in an aerospace manufacturing environment during the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr.
