POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Investor Relations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing market research and data, and participating in in-depth analysis of the company's industries, competitors, peers, products, and solutions. The analyst will also support Advanced Energy's investor relations program through a wide range of financial preparation and administrative activities. In addition, the role will help develop, evolve, and automate processes and potentially AI tools to enhance our market analytics and investor relations functions.
This role provides hands-on experience in how market intelligence is conducted in a corporate environment and offers exposure to finance and investor relations. It also provides opportunities to apply AI, data analytics, and software tools in real-world business applications.
The position offers long-term potential for career growth, with pathways into either corporate finance or marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help organize available market research resources to enhance our competitive intelligence process
Analyze market data to generate useful insights and make actionable recommendations
Help prepare emails, summary documents, or PowerPoint presentations to distribute market intelligence information
Work closely with the SVP of Strategic Marketing, the Director of Investor Relations, and other executives on ad-hoc market research projects
Contribute to a range of investor relations activities
Develop dashboards and SharePoint sites to disseminate market intelligence across the organization
Investigate and develop AI tools and/or agents based on specific use cases to enhance the effectiveness of the market research and investor relations functions

QUALIFICATIONS :
Good collaboration skills and not afraid to reach out to others across the organization
Ability to learn and understand new technologies, markets, and industry trends
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking
Proficient in Microsoft tools including Excel, Powerpoint, Word
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI and/or Power Automate is a plus
Knowledge of other software tools to facilitate research; programming skills is a plus
Self-driven with the ability to execute on limited direction and drive key results
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of Wall Street or corporate finance experience a plus
EDUCATION:
B.S. in business, finance, engineering, or related fields
COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $63,000 to $88,000 per year.
