2nd Shift-quality Technician

Responsibilities

Conduct incoming inspections and measure parts to ensure quality standards.

Document any non-conformities found during inspections.

Utilize inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.

Create and perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) when necessary.

Engage in drafting Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Control Plans.

Essential Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection or related fields.

Proficient in using inspection tools including micrometers and calipers.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Experience in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
