Summary You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (POLICY PLANNING) in the OFFICE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY PRINCIPAL CYBER ADVISOR. Responsibilities You will analyze and monitor the application of cyber policies, principles, and practices impacting DON's cyber risk posture, developing and staffing updated policy or guidance, as required, to maintain or improve the DON's cyber posture. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to negotiate, decide on, and/or coordinate cyber initiatives, policy, guidance, and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) reports. You will support execution and oversight of Department of War and DON Cyber Strategy implementation efforts. You will review, conduct, or participate in audits of cyber programs and projects. You will contribute to the planning and execution of joint Department of War (DoD) cyber programs by analyzing key data and preparing draft reports. You will coordinate with stakeholders in the Offices of the Secretary of War and within and across Military Departments to ensure timely and accurate submissions for cyber-related reports and studies.
