JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary Set-up, adjust, and operate CNC
machines and be capable of tending multiple machines. Reset tools as
required to produce parts within close limits where finish requirements
are difficult to maintain. Responsibilities Set-up, adjust, and operate
CNC Turning Center machines Be capable of tending multiple machines in a
production mode Required to keep maintenance and production logs Work
from blueprints, operation sheets, programs, specifications, and verbal
instructions Maintain tools and machine adjustments Must be accountable
for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on
a continuous basis Reset tools as required to produce parts within close
limits where finish requirements are difficult to maintain Check set-up
and production parts using a wide variety of precision measuring
instruments Actively participate in department and process team
activities and projects Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Short
term trade training in NC or CNC (1-2 years) Good verbal, reading,
writing and math skills Have a knowledge and understanding of
conventional/ conversational programming Basic computer skills Be
capable of using a variety of measuring instruments, such as calipers,
micrometers, bevel protractor, scales, etc. Must be able to read
