Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes within a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and the ability to handle complex financial tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Conduct thorough account reconciliations, including general ledger and bank accounts, to maintain financial accuracy.

Manage journal entries and adjustments to support accurate month-end close processes.

Assist in preparing 10K and 10Q filings, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements.

Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and organize financial data.

Support financial reporting activities by providing detailed documentation and analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and improve operational efficiency.

Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation for audit purposes.

Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

Provide support for ad hoc financial projects as needed.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting standards.

Experience with 10K and 10Q filings.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

Familiarity with accounting systems, preferably Oracle.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
