Overview:
Join the Finance Process Improvement and Automation Team to help the division better understand, improve, automate, and enable processes while also supporting our multi-year transformational journey towards a new financials system. The Ops Solution Developer II serves across the division as a partner for Operational Excellence (OE) and end-user tool automation.
What you'll do:
Partner with teams across Finance to understand and document the current state of processes and influence Operational Excellence and automation.
Determine root cause and advise teams on process efficiency, risk reduction, and/or automation recommendations, including the corresponding business benefit.
Understand and facilitate automation requirements and design the corresponding future state process.
Develop automation solutions using end-user tools, including Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Automation Anywhere (RPA), Tableau, and other firm tools.

What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field preferred or related work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
Develop business and technical requirements for enhancements; assist with requirements for new systems.
Design (including application development specifications), develop, test, document, and implement quality application software within targeted timeframes.
Provide application development and system level estimates - may include options and recommendations for course of action.
Documentation for transition to support teams as well as for daily assignments - includes application flows, interdependencies, and troubleshooting/escalations policies as well as standard team documentation.
Proficient in at least one of the following environments; establishing skills in others. Environments may include the following, plus the ability to interface with one or more database platforms:

Enterprise or solution specific purchased software.
Understand business implications of projects for systems within responsibility and prior experience.
