Operations Management Specialist

Responsibilities

Manage and execute all aspects of WJPC Center's operations in support of programs and activities annually.

Prepare and deliver weekly status reports, including completed tasks, staffing status, financials (travel & ODC), and any issues.

Lead project planning and implement Government-approved projects on schedule.

Participate in onsite meetings; develop briefings, white papers, and responses to data calls as required.

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); ensure coordination with Contractor and Government personnel, present SOPs for Government review.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational specialists' support and deliverables.

Alert Contract Manager to any issues or concerns relating to fellows, guests, activities, or contract deliverables.

Utilize PM tools and methods (timelines, task tracking, budget tracking, ODC approvals) to ensure contract requirements are met.

Oversee integration of operations-support functions; ensure use of systems (Power BI, workflow) and review/approve estimates before submission to CM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years' experience in operations or project management, especially in Government or DoD contracts.

Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills.

Demonstrated experience in financial tracking, schedule/timeline management, and SOP development.

Proficiency with project management tools and data systems (Power BI a plus).

Spanish Language Proficiency.
