Your expertise and areas of interest may be applied on one or more programs, providing you new opportunities to learn and grow.In this position you will serve as a member of an experienced engineering team responsible for development of next generation artillery system solutions. This position will be part-time at 20 hours per week.This role supports the design and test of software driven precision targeting systems through:- Definition of test procedures- Development of data analysis software tools/functions required for test verification- Planning for and support of live fire test events.Qualifications- Minimum of 12 years' experience with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field of study- U.S. Citizenship- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance- Expert level proficiency in C++- Experience developing software in a Linux environment- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Willingness to travel as requiredPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
