About the Role:

As a CBRE Union Engineer, you will be a part of a team responsible for a site's equipment maintenance and instrument calibration processes.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, andrepairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

· Monitordata center infrastructure including power, cooling, environmental controls,and security systems.

· Performroutine facility inspections to ensure equipment is functioning withinspecified parameters.

· Respondto alarms, notifications, and alerts, taking immediate action to preventservice disruptions.

· Maintaincompliance with operational standards, SOPs, and safety procedures.

· Performscheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on mechanical and electrical systemssuch as UPS, generators, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, PDUs, switchgear, and firesuppression systems.

· Diagnoseand resolve equipment issues; escalate to vendors or senior technicians asrequired.

· Participatein on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations, ensuring minimaldowntime.

· Documentincidents, root causes, and corrective actions in accordance with incidentmanagement practices.

· Coordinatewith external vendors for repairs, upgrades, and service visits

· Maintainaccurate logs for maintenance activities, system performance, and assettracking.

· Updatedocumentation for processes, diagrams, SOPs, and equipment lifecycle.

· Supportaudit activities for security, compliance, and operational readiness.

· Adhereto all electrical safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and hazardprotocols

· Troubleshoot,diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment.

· Maintainroutine maintenance schedules, system configurations, technical referencematerials, etc.

· Participatein user training of system and application updates/enhancements. Createtraining documentation.

· Applyin-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures toaccomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

· Coachothers and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledgeof several job disciplines within the function.

· Lead byexample and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work tobuild consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

· Workwithin broad guidelines and policies.

What You'll Need:

· High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with4-5 years of job-related experience. Inlieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manageror supervisory experiencepreferred.

· Meet the physicalrequirements of this role includingstooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loadsof 50 lbs. or more.

· Ability to exercisejudgment based on the analysisof multiple sourcesof information.

· Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Officeproducts. Examples includeWord, Excel, Outlook,etc.

· Organizational skills with an advancedinquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Union Data Center Engineer position is $110240 / $53hr annually and the maximum salary of $110240/$53hr annually . The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance
