Responsibilities Serves as supervisor over 5 or more Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanics Understands and plans implementation of Vantage Point and Panel View Dashboards to integrate all PLCs for production and downtime tracking. Oversee the maintenance of electronic sub-systems and components with numerous remote units which functions must be coordinated by use of interlocking signals over a data highway. Writes, modifies, and edits programmable controller programs, including file management, file moves, block transfers, block transfer read and writes, and other high order programmable controller functions. Maintains programmable controller program documentation to include changes and edits. Demonstrates knowledge of, as well as teaching and mentoring subordinates on interfacing principles and techniques of computer controlled sub-systems. Understands Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) operations and how to implement them into current systems as well as upgraded state of the art systems as equipment is installed.
