Position Title: Cook

Reports To: Kitchen Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary

Prepare high-quality meals that meet established recipes, presentation standards, and customer expectations.

Work with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations, cleanliness, and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.

Follow food safety, handling, storage, and rotation procedures.

Monitor cooking times and temperatures for consistency and safety.

Support menu planning, special events, and catering as needed.

Coordinate with kitchen staff during high-volume service periods.

Track inventory, report shortages, and assist with deliveries.

Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Provide guidance to junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

Experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Food Handler Certification (required).

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods.

Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Work comfortably in hot and fast-paced environments.

Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Work Schedule

Monday -- Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Hours may vary).

Compensation & Benefits

$22--$23 per hour.

Overtime eligible.

Medical and dental insurance.

Paid time off after a 6-month probationary period.
