Job Title: Forecast Planning Analyst

Job Description

As a Forecast Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support effective supply chain planning.

Essential Skills

1-2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Finance, or a relevant field.

Experience with forecasting/statistical tools or software

Proficiency in ERP systems and MRP modules.

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling, and macros.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a relevant field. (Preferred not required.)

Responsibilities

Determine ideal forecasting model using scenario analysis and advanced tools.

Champion process improvements, cost savings opportunities, and best practices.

Facilitate consensus building in forecast review meetings.

Develop and enhance tools and processes around forecasting, planning, and inventory management.

Create procedures and work instructions.

Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, and inventory.

Manage special projects.

Provide financial analysis when requested.

Provide data analysis and reporting.

Review product forecasts and trends, making suggestions to modify forecasts.

Generate statistical forecasts using available tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake in the Hills, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
