Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Description

Join an international leader in boat club operations as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Leverage your tech-savvy skills and accounts receivable experience to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will be responsible for monitoring incoming payments, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records in Oracle, updating them frequently.

Communicate with members to request payment and arrange payment plans.

Collect payments from customers and accurately record them into Oracle.

Process suspensions in SFDC for non-payment within 7 days and leave notes in SFDC.

Take full ownership of Chargeback disputes for both Credit cards and ACH.

Ensure monthly dues collection within 45 days.

Ensure entry fee collection within 45 days.

Ensure IR & Fuel Collection within 45 days.

Consolidate lists of members to remove suspension and email members.

Provide proactive customer communication regarding delinquent accounts.

Update member accounts with changes to personal or payment information.

Manage a high volume of transactions and accounts.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable using Oracle and Excel.

Strong problem-solving skills and basic accounting principles knowledge.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Member service-oriented attitude, well-organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.

Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.

Team player attitude with a strong customer service orientation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Familiarity with QuickBooks.

Accounts payable experience.

Work Environment

Work in a collaborative and supportive environment that values teamwork and communication. Utilize technologies like Oracle and Salesforce CRM to manage financial transactions. Dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
