JOB REQUIREMENTS: Your Role: The Warehouse Operator 1 is responsible for maintaining the quality of their work, providing effective solutions to problems based on established practices and procedures, and exercising discretion to enhance work processes and efficiency. This role requires completing tasks with minimal supervision. Essential Job Functions: Load and unload freight as necessary. Operate equipment to generate documentation for workload management. Locate, move, deliver, or return materials to designated areas. Prepare materials for shipment. Accurately document all material movements. Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy of locations and stock levels. Follow procedures for comprehensive location audits. Verify chemicals, catalog numbers, lot numbers, special requests, unit sizes, and weights against order documentation as indicated in packing instructions. Print and apply required labels and markings to packages in compliance with hazardous materials regulations. Organize and maintain warehouse areas for cleanliness and efficiency. Report unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions to team leads or management. Perform miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned. Operate powered pallet jacks and manual material handling equipment as required. Receive materials from external vendors. Pack hazardous items for shipment to customers. Scan or input product data into the shipping system. Ensure packaging complies with established procedures and regulations, including DOT, IATA, and IMO. Select orders for processing. Maintain exemplary attendance and adherence to the schedule. Follow all Good Distribution Practices (GDP) where applicable. Physical Attributes: Works near moving mechanical parts Wears appropriate protective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment \"PPE\" to protect themselves from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors, or airborne particles Work area may occasionally be wet, humid, abnormally hot, or cold. Regularly sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time Lift up to 50 pounds and push and pull heavy equipment Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 2+ years\' experience working in a warehouse environment Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree in any discipline Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all staff levels. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Competence in operating PCs, scanners, printers, shipping equipment, and various cutting tools. Attention to detail and accuracy. Understanding of basic shipping regulations. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Pay Range for this position: \$21-\$37/hour The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
