Salary Range: $59,000 to $90,000

THE FLEET MANAGEMENT TEAM

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Fleet Safety Training Administrator to provide administrative and clerical support for CEI's Fleet Safety Program. This role plays a key part in ensuring training compliance with internal safety standards and policies.
Administrative Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fleet Safety Manager, with a focus on developing and conducting training to meet all aspects of fleet safety compliance.
Driver & Regulatory Compliance Management
Assist Production, Project Management, and Safety with Driver Training complying with FMCSA, DOT, and CEI policies.
Responsibilities include developing training, delivering training, and tracking of training completion schedules.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze, and interpret compliance data. Prepare training material that will address compliance gaps and trends related to all areas of Fleet Safety.
Cross-Functional Communication
Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and employees to address compliance issues and coordinate training.
Provide training for all levels of leadership and front-line employees.
Documentation & Training Coordination
Maintain organized compliance documentation. Support the preparation and delivery of training sessions to ensure all personnel are aligned with current safety and regulatory standards.
Review post-accident findings to identify root causes and develop and deliver targeted training to prevent recurrence and improve overall safety performance.
Knowledge & Job Complexity
Leverages company resources while expanding subject knowledge to effectively manage day-to-day challenges.
Manages and prioritizes tasks by evaluating variables, considering both the scope of work and ways to minimize impacts to production.
Builds professional working relationships across internal and external partners embracing CEI culture and core values.
Use of company policies and procedures identifying proper actions.
Supervision
Receives guidance for new or complex assignments.
Works independently and escalate issues as needed.
ABOUT YOU
Highly organized with strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; experience with JDE and Fleet Telematics systems is a plus.
Able to deliver accurate, high-quality work efficiently.
Strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills-both written and verbal
Capable of handling confidential and proprietary information with professionalism and discretion
Comfortable performing routine clerical tasks and basic mathematical calculations
Skilled at following both oral and written instructions and working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the electrical construction industry is highly desirable.
Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance and consistent performance.
Experience in leading educational sessions for drivers and managers on topics like defensive driving, vehicle dynamics, and compliance with regulations.
Experience in the creation of consistent coaching methods, customized learning paths, and overall fleet safety training programs.
Experience ensuring company operations follow FMCSA regulations and DOT Safety Standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in general office practices. Experience in construction with a focus on FMCSA, DOT, and fleet safety is preferred.
