Construction Accounting AssistantThis Montana-based company, providing installation services to the utilities, energy, and communications industries for decades is seeking a Construction Accounting Assistant. They deliver a range of solutions for equipment manufacturers, service providers, and project contractors across the country. The Accounting Assistant supports payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, and general office operations while assisting both field staff and management.Why You Want This Position:Starting Wage: Up to $22/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-time, Monday through FridayBenefits for eligible employees:Medical, dental and life insurance policiesPaid HolidaysPaid Vacation time Essential Functions and Duties:Manage invoicing, follow up on delinquent accounts, and track/verify credit card transactionsProcess purchase orders, vendor payments, and weekly payrollSupport onboarding for employees, customers, and subcontractors, including badgingHandle shipping, receiving, and inventory/asset trackingAssist with customer support requests and departmental reportingPerform general administrative tasks and other duties to support the department and operations manager Qualifications:Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Chrome)Strong written and @typed communication skillsSkilled at compiling, reconciling, and analyzing spreadsheet dataAble to identify issues and ask appropriate questions to obtain necessary informationDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficientlyHighschool Diploma or GEDAbility to pass a pre-employment background and drug screeningsGet in touch!
