Description Teaching Assistant Professor, Finance John Chambers College of Business & Economics West Virginia University - Morgantown, WV The Department of Finance at the John Chambers College of Business & Economics, West Virginia University, invites qualified applicants for a Teaching Assistant Professor position within the area of Finance. This is a full-time, 9-month, benefits eligible, non-tenure-track appointment with an anticipated start date in Fall 2026. Primary Responsibilities Teach an average of eight courses per year at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, covering various topics in finance, including insurance, banking, financial planning, among others. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality curriculum delivery. Actively contribute to departmental, college, and university service initiatives. Participate in student mentoring, program development, and other academic activities.

Qualifications A Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field (e.g., Economics, Accounting, Financial Planning) is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the collegiate level. A strong commitment to student success and academic engagement. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
