Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Product Owner.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year.

What you'll do:
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for maximizing the value of the Sales and Marketing Domain offerings by creating, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog. The Product Owner oversees products that significantly impact Eaton's business outcomes, with work that is foundational to the organization. In this role, the Product Owner sets and communicates the product vision, develops and maintains the product roadmap, and defines key operational processes such as the product release schedule. They work closely with business partners and customers to define epics that align with strategic objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team. Additionally, the Product Owner tracks and manages product funding, establishes work priorities for team members, and balances new feature development with continuous improvement, system health, and support needs. They collaborate directly with analysts, engineers, and other product team members to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, define user stories, and represent the voice of the customer throughout product processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and epics to meet customer and business needs
Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work
Plan, manage, and track product funding. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit plan
Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys
Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product in collaboration with those key stakeholders
Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints.
Support the onboarding of internal and external resources
Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage
Build functional expertise in areas related to the product, sales and marketing
Support establishment of product processes (e.g., release schedule) and support process improvement activities across product processes (Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, etc.)
Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an analyst, project manager, engineer, BRM or program lead on technology projects and programs.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH- Galesburg, MI - Moon, PA - Houston, TX - Menomonee Falls, WI - Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
Demonstrable understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes
General understanding of DevSecOps principles
General familiarity with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
Experience with Agile development and use of Jira.
Understanding of Sales sub-domains including Order Management (Sales, Orders, Bookings, and Backlog), CRM, Pricing, etc.
Experience with Marketing data including campaign metrics, market segments, end customer, etc.
Skills:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital for this role.
Familiarity with design thinking methodologies
Ability to create and manage product roadmaps
Data orientation and ability to make data-driven decisions
Financial and budget management
Clear understanding of lean principles with respect to product and portfolio management
Comfortable working directly with business leaders, external customers, and engineering teams
Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams.
Up to 10% travel required.
