T he overall function of this position is to receive and distribute supplies to department personnel and to maximize warehousing space by keeping supplies organized. This position is located in District 07 Unit 001 of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to the Admin Program Manager 3. The incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties many times with or without minimal supervision and be able to interpret unforeseen conditions as they may arise. The incumbent will participate in appropriate DOTD structured training programs and attend all continuing education classes and conferences deemed necessary to facilitate the performance of required tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Creates, updates, and manages purchase requisitions through the DOTD Central Warehouse in compliance with DOTD procurement policies and Division of Administration requirements. Uses System Applications and Products (SAP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and spreadsheets/databases to ensure accurate receiving and issuing of goods, and takes corrective action when needed.
Serves as the primary point of contact for all material requests for District 07. Researches the state purchasing system (eCat) to identify items available on state contract, prepares requisition forms for both contract and non-contract items, and submits required documentation to the Business Office for processing.
Maintains accurate perpetual inventory records using computerized systems to ensure essential supplies are consistently available. Processes inventory issuance documentation, reviews system reports to identify and correct discrepancies, and conducts physical inventories of the stockroom and green warehouse as requested.
Oversees the receipt and unloading of supplies from state warehouses and vendors. Verifies deliveries against purchase orders and requisitions for accuracy, ensures items are properly labeled and stored, and maintains an organized, clean, and efficient stockroom environment.
