In an exciting and challenging fast-paced environment, the Millwright repairs hydraulic equipment, welds, performs crane maintenance and repairs and installs plant equipment.

What You'll Do:

Requires ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches.

Has working knowledge of various @types of gear reductions and motor/reducer coupling alignments.

Must have knowledge and ability to repair hydraulic equipment.

Has knowledge to perform the following welding procedures: mig, tig, stick (including stainless) and gas welding.

Operates mobile equipment.

Performs crane maintenance and has knowledge of the proper safe rigging methods.

Able to work at heights.

Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.

Must have ability and desire to work with others.

Meets attendance requirements.

Performs other duties as deemed necessary.

What You'll Need:

Commitment to safety

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D..

Completion of EQS in-house Apprentice Program or a minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance in a heavy industrial facility preferred. Previous maintenance experience in a steelmaking environment preferred but not required.

Ability to pass a written skills-based test, as well as blueprint test, hydraulic test, and welding test.

Driving is a function of this position but not a requirement in accordance with the motor vehicle safety program. Driver's license will be monitored for valid and active status.
