Clinical Marketing Operations & Events Coordinator job description
ConMed Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to support key initiatives of the Advanced Surgical Clinical Development team. This role provides centralized operational, logistical, and coordination support to the Clinical Development team. The position is responsible for end-to-end execution of the logistics for clinical development events, surgeon education programs, case observation events and regional trade shows. The role also serves as operational and compliance backup across the Sales Enablement team.
This is a hybrid position with Denver, CO as the preferred location - monthly core week attendance in office is required.This position offers growth potential, with intentional exposure to Sales Enablement, Marketing and Events departments, allowing for future development into higher level roles across the commercial organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Development Medical Education Events
Coordinate with field sales representatives and Clinical Development leaders to:
Schedule clinical development-led events and manage logistics from planning through execution
Create event fliers and invitations in alignment with brand and compliance guidelines
Identify product and display needs
Schedule and confirm event details with all stakeholders
Coordinate with external surgeon consultants and internal compliance team
Surgeon Education & Observation Program OwnershipCoordinate with field sales representatives and Clinical Development leaders to:
Manage logistics and coordination for Key surgeon dinner programs and Case Observation programs
Create event fliers and invitations in alignment with brand and compliance guidelines
Coordinate travel logistics for observing surgeons / clinicians
Maintain calendar and schedule of programs
Calendar Management & Cross-Functional Communication
Maintain and distribute a centralized clinical development events calendar
Proactively communicate upcoming events and potential conflicts to the commercial teams
Ensure cross-functional visibility and alignment on event timing and scope
Clinical Development documentation governance
Full responsibility for program documentation, tracking & compliance communication
Document event details and maintain database for compliance and initiative tracking
Communicate regularly with compliance team
Serve as backup support for compliance-related workflows, escalating issues as needed
Regional Trade Show Logistics & Execution
Full responsibility for regional trade show programs, coordinating with Sales Leaders and the Sales Enablement team members. Responsibilities include:
Communicate with regional teams to determine product needs and confirm display and booth requirements
Registration and payment processing
Managing event timelines and internal deadlines
Schedule shipment of required products and displays
Coordinate return shipment of products and materials
Ensure inventory reconciliation and proper closeout
Cross-Functional Backup & Operational Support
Serve as operational backup for Meeting Planner, Sales Operations and Compliance Specialist providing coverage during peak workload periods, PTO, or high-volume events
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree
Two (2) + years' experience in a professional and fast pace, work environment
Preferred
High attention to detail and process adherence
Strong organizational and time management ability
Able to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience in any or all:
Event coordination
Sales or marketing operations
Clinical or healthcare environments
Medical Device regulatory and compliance workflows

Disclosure as required by applicablelaw, the annual salary range for this position is $66,000-$100,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
