Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $23 - $23 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Project Personnel / Skilled Construction / Technical Support:

Assist with mechanical and structural installation of production and processing equipment

Perform basic electrical, plumbing, or fabrication tasks as part of project execution

Support plant layout changes, utility connections, and line modifications

Operate hand and power tools, forklifts, or other equipment safely and efficiently

Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure proper installation and functionality

Follow blueprints, layouts, and work instructions for project builds

Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and food safety (GMP/HACCP) standards

Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas throughout project completion

Job requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical school preferred

2+ years of experience in construction, mechanical, or industrial maintenance roles

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Experience with hand tools, welding, pipefitting, or light electrical work

Understanding of OSHA safety standards and GMP compliance in food manufacturing

Strong teamwork, problemsolving, and time management skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as project needs require

Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Comfortable working in manufacturing and construction environments with noise, heat, or confined spaces
