Treasury Accountant

Our client, a leading food processing organization, is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join their team. As a Treasury Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Treasury team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Treasury Accountant (Contract to Hire)

Location: Chicago, Illinois - Hybrid (4 days Onsite/2 days Remote)

Pay Range: $35-$45 per hour (flexible based on experience)

What's the Job?

Monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Completing monthly accounting work in accordance with US GAAP guidelines and performing relevant analysis.

Conducting annual reviews and revisions of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) to enhance internal control effectiveness.

Collaborating with business partners to provide insights and analysis into financial results.

Preparing and analyzing financial statements and supporting schedules for quarterly reporting.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of treasury accounting experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems.

Knowledge of Internal Controls, audit compliance, and financial analysis.
