As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Nights in Canoga Park, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-tech aero and defense location where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and support access control and security-related response with clear, professional communication. This is an armed, driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset as you help protect critical operations.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and personnel by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Control access at gates, posts, and restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor processing, and maintaining accurate access logs and documentation.

Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.

Complete detailed reports and security-related documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift turnover communications.

Minimum Requirements:

Armed Guard Card/License is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Handcuffing Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Guard Card/License is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
