As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Rounds in East Saint Louis, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and service requests, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. This post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.

Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing badge use, escort requirements, and visitor controls, and report irregularities according to site procedures.

Document patrols, incidents, and maintenance concerns in written and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
