Manufacturing Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient asphalt production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, basic computer proficiency, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $

Shift: Day and Night shifts available (3:00 am to 3:00 pm, transitioning to 3:00 pm to 3:00 am)

What's the Job?

Assist operators in asphalt production processes, including truck loading/unloading and boiler incinerator operations

Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, BOL processing, and production tracking

Obtain necessary certifications, including Boiler Operator License and forklift operation

Participate in safety and environmental compliance initiatives, ensuring a safe work environment

Support maintenance projects and contribute to continuous process improvements

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience in the chemical industry or power plant environment

Good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills (training provided)

Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, including climbing stairs and handling physical tasks

Commitment to safety, teamwork, and environmental policies
