Join the Supply Chain Capacity and Readiness team and be part of the foundational transformation of GE Aerospace! This dynamic team is at the heart of driving continuous improvement. Our team delivers results through Value Stream Management.
The Value Stream Owner will coordinate efforts to mature the GE Aerospace's Supply Chain Capacity and Readiness processes: standard work for Value Stream steps, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and associated tools development.
The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.
The role requires high level of influential skills to work with teams across supply chain and programs organizations.
This role is open to remote consideration in EST and CST locations. If remote, will have travel to Evendale, OH once a quarter.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with the rest of the organization (Capacity & Readiness Process owners, SIOP team, planning, sourcing, Part families, Product lines...) to fully understand inter-connections andidentifygaps in the processes.
Ensure proper documentation ad flow down of requirements to achieve the Value Stream transformation
Create and own the integrated action plans to exceed key performance targets (including HK TTIs) and systematically close capacity and readiness gaps. You will translate data and assessments into a clear, accountable roadmap for the organization.
Conduct regular process reviews to assess performance and adherence to standard work.Identifygaps, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure accountability for corrective actions.
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management and technology.
Defines priorities for the teams and identify resource constraints; escalate to leadership when unable to resolve issues
Coach teams to develop process and standardsthat reduce waste within the Value Stream
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others.
Run Value Stream Analysis events (1 to 2 times a year)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in operations, planning, sourcing, inventory management or related experience)
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, planning, sourcing, inventory management or related experience
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge & experience with Flight Deck processes & tools.

The salary range for this position is $116,000 - $155,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
