Description: The F-35 Sensor Fusion team is seeking a highly skilled State Estimation Engineer to join our team in developing the next generation of sensor fusion algorithms. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, modeling, analyzing and testing State Estimation algorithms as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into Fusion applications.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
Strong experience with Modern C++ and MATLAB
Strong mathematical foundation in Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Estimation, Control Theory, and Statistics
Experience with conventional tracking approaches (Kalman Filter, Extended Kalman Filter, Unscented Kalman Filter, Particle Filter) and applications of these approaches
Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience - (Windows & Linux)

Desired Skills:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying sensor processing algorithms from RADAR, electronic warfare, infrared/optical sensors, and IMUs
Prior radar mode development experience with active electronically scanned arrays (AESA)
Extensive experience modeling vehicle motion, sensor modeling, non-linear optimization, data association, and sensor fusion
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
