Construction Assembler - (6-Month Contract)

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay: $20+/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Contract Length: 6 Months (Great Summer Job!)

Position Overview

We are hiring Construction Assemblers for a 6-month contract position -perfect for someone looking for a solid summer job , hands-on work, and a reliable schedule. You'll support mechanical assembly in a clean, organized manufacturing environment using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical parts and components

Use hand and power tools (pneumatic, manual, and electric)

Measure and verify accuracy using tape measures and calipers

Drill and tap holes as needed

Perform basic adjustments, rework, and repair tasks

Move materials using hoists, carts, and dollies

Follow all safety and quality guidelines

Ideal Candidate

1+ year experience in construction, mechanical assembly, or related work

Able to use:

Tape measures (standard & metric)

Torque wrenches (ft-lbs & Nm)

Dial calipers

Comfortable drilling and tapping holes

Able to read basic blueprints or schematics

Reliable attendance & strong safety mindset

Enjoys hands-on, physical work

Work Environment

Fully on-site manufacturing role

Steel-toe boots required

No jewelry; long hair must be tied back

Standard PPE/safety gear required

Designated breaks; breakroom with refrigerator

No phones/headsets allowed on production floor

This is a Contract position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
