Accounts Payable Clerk-Invoice Processing (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Description

This role supports invoice processing and assists with reviewing and resolving invoice-related issues. It helps monitor ticket queues, follow established financial policies, and works with internal teams to support day-to-day Accounts Payable activities.

Job Responsibilities

? Process and review invoices using BirchStreet and other accounts payable systems.

? Research and resolve invoice exceptions and discrepancies in a timely manner.

? Monitor and manage ticket queues to support accurate and on-time payment processing.

? Follow established financial policies, business hierarchy rules, and internal controls.

? Support cross functional Accounts Payable activities and assist with process improvements.

? Provide professional support to internal and external stakeholders and assist with additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications

? Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

? 2?4 years of accounting or Accounts Payable experience required, preferably in a large or shared services environment.

? Experience with BirchStreet, Oracle, or similar financial systems is a plus.

? Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, and strong data entry skills.

? Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities with high attention to detail.

? Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well across teams and organizational levels.

? Ability to manage multiple tasks by priority, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

? Detail oriented, adaptable, accurate and focused on process improvement.
