Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas, on a Contract to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume data entry while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to solve problems like a puzzle, matching purchase orders to customer accounts and documenting information effectively.

Responsibilities:

Process purchase orders with precision, handling a high volume of entries daily.

Verify and match purchase orders to customer accounts, ensuring all details align with the company structure and service locations.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies by identifying the purpose of orders and applying the appropriate PO numbers.

Record and organize data in spreadsheets, maintaining clarity and accuracy.

Communicate effectively with team members and customers, fostering collaboration and maintaining a positive work environment.

Manage workload efficiently to meet daily data entry targets, prioritizing tasks as needed.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and accurate record-keeping.

Uphold company standards by maintaining attention to detail in all processes and documentation.

Adapt to evolving tasks and responsibilities as required by business needs.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries calmly and professionally. Requirements - Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is required.

Proficient in high-volume data entry with exceptional attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to match purchase orders to service locations and customer accounts.

Competence in using spreadsheets and managing data efficiently.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Self-motivated and reliable, with a commitment to showing up to work every day.

Team-oriented attitude, maintaining a positive and detail oriented demeanor.
