Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing daily bank reconciliations, processing bank deposits, and handling accounts payable documentation. This role also involves sorting and preparing mail, providing phone coverage, and supporting the reception area for guests and suppliers. The specialist will maintain detailed accounts payable documentation with precision and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily bank reconciliations.

Process and prepare bank deposits daily.

Scan accounts payable documents for each respective company.

Sort and prepare incoming and outgoing mail.

Provide phone coverage.

Support the reception area for guests and suppliers.

Maintain accounts payable documentation accurately.

Essential Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to handle confidential information ethically and professionally.

Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Self-starter with a dynamic and challenging work environment mindset.

Detail-oriented with pride in preparing quality work.

High-level verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work with multiple companies and systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and invoicing.

Work Environment

The position is fully on-site, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The specialist will report closely to a staff accountant overseeing bank reconciliations and collaborate with controllers and three other team members within the accounts payable team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint George, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
