Walmart Global Tech is looking to hire a seasoned Senior Data Scientist for their Personalization team in Sunnyvale, CA to support the Personalization and Recommendation development efforts with our eCommerce team.
About the Team:
The Personalization team consists of platform, application engineers, scientists and product visionaries all working together to design, proto@type and build technology-driven products and experiences that will change the future landscape of ecommerce. We are focused on building end-to-end customer experience, from finding the product to delivering it to the customer. This will span many markets, business models and form factors; therefore, we are looking for data scientists who will bring not only the experiences in technologies, but the curiosity and capability to innovate. What You'll Do:
Developstate of the arttechniques in Machine Learning, Personalization and Recommendation systems
Design, implement, and own thestate-of-the-artMachine Learning approaches including deep learning, reinforcement learning, generativeAItechniques
Collaboratewith other tech leads on top-down or bottom-up initiatives and priorities
Develop data modelsanditerativelyimprove thembased on new data insights
Design,architectand iterate on data models
Iterate, challenge, and accelerate best practices in Personalization and Item Recommendations
What You'll Bring:
Master's degree/Ph.D in DataScience, ComputerScienceor related fields with practical experience
Expertisein Machine Learning, Statistics,Generatlive AI,Personalization and Item Recommendation algorithms
Experience in data science and building and evaluating large scale machine learninganddeep learning models
Experience in designing and deploying highly scalable Recommenderssystems for e-commerce
Curiosity instate-of-the-arttechniques in recommendation related areas
Exceptional business acumen and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to proto@type and implement complex AI solutions
Outstanding communication, leadership, and written skills
Strong codingskillsin Python or other related language
Experience building scalable data pipelines using Spark, Hive, and/or SQL
Experiencedesigningscalable end-to-endmodel architectures and conducting experimentsinPyTorch/TensorFlowto solve complex predictive modeling problems
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Personalization and recommendation development and implementation experience in an e-commerce environment strongly preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
