We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers in a fun, team-oriented environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the customer experience within our company. This role will start as a sales assistant and advance into a Business Development Manager over time. Don't know anything about fasteners? We will teach you everything you need to know. There is no set time limit on the learning curve. We will decide together when you are ready to break out on your own. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential in daily operations and helping the company meet sales goals. The starting wage is competitive, but will vary depending on qualifications and previous work experience plus commission on new sales. Everything is negotiable - we are open for discussion. Duties: Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Hands on training to gain knowledge of our products will be provided. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and maximize sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and inventory to assist customers effectively. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Process daily sales orders and other operations duties. Collaborate with team members to reach sales goals and improve overall company performance. Knowledge of social media, websites and SEO would be a huge bonus. Travel the eastern US to obtain new customers for the company will be required once the role has developed. Benefits: After 90-day probationary period, two weeks of vacation at the start, 5 sick days, paid holidays, 50% of health care cost under ACA, all expenses reimbursed. Qualifications: No experience necessary. Recent college graduates or those with a high school diploma are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Proficiency in basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
