As a key leader in the Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend Team and the Value Chain Management (VCM) organization, the Process lead will lead a team of functional experts in supporting and improving the process and capability for the E2E Order to Cash process in the new business operating system, TIME SAP. They will enable integration across the IM & J&J Order to Cash functions to embrace the solutions that support end to end (E2E) organization and requirements while maintaining the integrity and reliability of ERP template. The role will be accountable for collaborating with a team of E2E experts in supporting the user base on the Transcend system and driving the ongoing process capability improvements for all capabilities. The role will include bench-marking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment through the various Transcend projects and continuous improvement releases. This individual must apply a refined, multi-functional tool-set of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital competence to effectively interact with a breadth of business collaborators and global process owners. The successful candidate will engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with program leadership at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Functional template owners and Functional CoE, and lead the Governance process with respect to capability improvements in the End to End Order to Cash process flow
In partnership with Technology, sustain and manage the content & configuration elements of the system solution including process flows
Partner with Master Data and ensure Delivery of connected master data and transaction data excellence that support IM Operations
Ensure compliance with the IM and Transcend processes
Forge effective partnerships with IT, in the development of the connection points with the Integration layer and seamlessly connect to the enterprise architecture, visualization and analytics design
Work closely with the other Order to Cash Strategic Program Leads to continuously embed best practice and agile methodologies in the support of IM Transcend system
Ensure support across functions is established and maintained for deployed capabilities
Leverage best practices across the enterprise, drive preventative action, enable enterprise/E2E knowledge-sharing and act as an escalation point for critical user issues
Support sustainment infrastructure to oversee and assist Super Users in providing access and security controls support for the systems according to the defined processes
Ensure all support documentation aligns with the IM Quality Management System requirements, including creation, revision, review, and approval when it is required
Support Sustainment functional teams understand the impact systems standards and architecture changes will have on the template capabilities and the need to engage with the Change Control Board Create and maintain infrastructure of Change Control Boards
Facilitate Business Case justification for Continuous Improvement changes related to Order to Cash, and lead implementations ensuring business readiness through oversight of Business Adoption and Documentation/Training Partner with J&J Technology (JJT)
Consistently seek to establish best practices in Functional CoE engagement through actively participating in Continuous Improvement opportunities
Develop team resources that can achieve functional excellence and have the ability to become SMEs for multiple functional areas over time through participating in targeted development programs Partner with Transcend and IM colleagues
Collaborate with leaders to ensure design aligns strategies and roadmaps
Partner with global template team of Supply Chain experts in design, development, maintenance and improvement of global business processes and integration points
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Minimum of High School or equivalent diploma/degree is required; Bachelor's / University or equivalent degree strongly preferred
Certifications are helpful in one or more of the following: PMP, FPX, or equivalent project management; APICS; and/or Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence
Experience and skills:
Required:
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Business functional experience (i.e., Operations, Supply Chain, and/or Finance) working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment
Experience in operating or supporting large-scale ERP processes following transformation/implementation programs
Experience in supporting, improving, developing, implementing, and leading operational technological processes within a global organization
Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and negotiating/influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate at various levels including program teams / execution and senior leadership / strategic levels
People management and development experience (direct or indirect reports and internal/external partners)
Preferred:
Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry experience
Experience with business process design, engineering, or optimization
Proven experience with large-scale SAP ERP replacement project(s)
Experience effectively leading and governing multi-functional decision-making bodies
Experience in deploying and/or improving standardized work processes, tools, and templates
Other:
Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally; proficiency in German, Dutch, or Italian is helpful
May require up to 30% domestic and international travel depending on work location and business needs
