Job Title: Administrative Assistant/ReceptionistJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks and providing exceptional support to our team.

Responsibilities

Manage and participate in product shipments, including preparation of certificates of conformance, packing slips, scheduling shipments with carriers, and tracking both outbound and inbound shipments.

Perform data entry using the Deltek/Costpoint platform for purchase orders.

Scan received product documentation, including shippers, invoices, and certificates of conformance.

Receive inbound calls, forward calls, and gather necessary information.

Follow up with customers for performance reviews.

Assist with expense reports.

Provide general office support, including tracking and purchasing both office and shop supplies.

Essential Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role within an engineering, manufacturing, or fabrication environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Effective speaking and listening skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong customer service skills.

Ethical conduct with a high regard for confidential information.

Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Organized with attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge will be considered.

US Citizenship required.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position located in Oxnard, CA. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The company offers a contract-to-hire position with a long-term opportunity for growth. You will be part of a small team that fosters a family-like atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxnard, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
