Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the role of the Global Patriot Middle East and North Africa Asia Pacific GEM-T Program Director. This role has profit and loss responsibility for all GEM-T missile programs, which consist of multiple DCS and FMS contracts. Current execution includes Missile development, production, upgrades and sustainment. You will be responsible for meeting the AOP and executing towards the 5-year plan for Global Patriot GEM-T Portfolio and leading a matrix organization (Finance, Contracts, EXIM, Operations Supply chain, Engineering, that includes CONUS and OCONUS employees in each discipline) in establishing priorities, optimizing performance and execution across multiple major contracts, and supporting business and customer requirements.
You will align capture strategies and plans (for Global Patriot including currently KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Morocco & Oman) to the current GEM-T production and execution capabilities and capacities. This includes support to the development of capability roadmaps driven by evolving needs both in the region and in the broader international community. This role spans multiple contacts for all production and development programs, as well as ongoing contract negotiations, capture efforts and development of new business within the high demand for the GEM-T product. Future bookings include additional GEM-T production orders, yearly customer buys to promote magazine depth and modernization efforts for building sustainment to support high demand signal.
You will establish key relationships with external customers (the USG and many end users) to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions and capabilities. You will be the customer interface across the lifecycle of the program from design and development through deployment and sustainment both with the USG as well as with the end customers. Additionally, you will work with the Foreign military customers, USG and RTX landed companies, to ensure successful missions in both production and development areas.
This role serves as a people leader within Raytheon with responsibility for working within the organization to continue to mentor and develop talent and career opportunities for program and matrixed personnel. This development includes providing experiential learning and development opportunities and drawing on managerial skills from prior rolls with up to 20 professionals directly supervised.
What You Will Do
Full profit and loss responsibilities and growth for the Global Patriot MAP GEM-T portfolio including contractual, financial, technical, and schedule requirements
Drive execution while meeting strategic objectives
Develop, inform and achieve AOP and LRP goals and objectives
Lead a multidisciplinary team, strategy development, internal and external program reviews, and program development through direct customer engagement, proposal preparation, supplier management, program management status reporting, and generation of work authorizations (IOTs), statements of work (SOWs), and specifications
Serve as the primary interface with multiple customers to develop and influence program priorities, execution and funding strategies
Lead organizational capture and startup activities for follow on development and production efforts
Lead internal reviews and executive briefings pertaining to all pursuits to include Gates, EACs, contract proposals, negotiations and definitization efforts
Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support) and/or administrative functions
Experience with financial analysis tools and project management tools and/or systems to include Earned Value Management
Experience balancing technical, cost and schedule on development or production programs
Qualifications We Prefer
Demonstrated experience managing large/complex program execution efforts in development, production and/or sustainment programs in the defense industry
Experience with complex programs at least $150 million in annual sales or greater and experience developing and executing international capture strategies
Strong proficiency in developing and presenting Strategic Plans, AOP, Technology Roadmaps, and planning to senior management, and responsibility for executing plans
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) (or equivalent)
Experience with program risk and opportunity (R&O) process to include program revenue and profit recognition to minimize risk to the organization

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
