Job Title: Repair Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Repair Manager to oversee all aspects of our component repair business. This role involves sourcing and evaluating repair estimates, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring the highest standards of quality management are maintained.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the company's component repair business.

Source and evaluate repair estimates from approved vendors for inventory and sales orders.

Approve or reject service estimates and quotes from repair vendors.

Assess value propositions for repairs and negotiate pricing and terms.

Coordinate with Purchasing to source piece parts at discounts for repairs when available.

Provide customer support, including status updates and warranty issue resolution.

Expedite repairs and maintain clear records of expectations from repair stations.

Oversee inbound and outbound parts shipments, including drop-shipments to vendors, repair facilities, or customers.

Expedite items returning from repair facilities to stock or to meet customer requirements.

Manage items on the Non-Compliance (NCO) list and collaborate with sales/buyers to resolve issues.

Clear purchase exceptions related to trace, certification, and documentation from vendors.

Respond to quality vendor and customer questionnaires.

Apply the Quality Control Manual for quarterly self-audits of the quality management system.

Manage and record vendor audits for quality assurance files.

Update the quality manual and training records as needed, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager.

Participate in and help manage the quality audit process with the Logistics Manager.

Evaluate and improve internal processes to align with organizational goals.

Cross-train with team members to ensure efficient back-up coverage and well-rounded team proficiency.

Engage in daily interactions with company personnel to address all aspects of the above responsibilities.

Essential Skills

Proven experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) or quality management roles, preferably in aviation or a related industry.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with quality management systems and audit processes.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with relevant IT systems (e.g., Quantum Information Technology System) is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunrise, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.08/hr.
