As a Security Officer - Hotel Concierge Overnights in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort front desk, where you will welcome guests, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor activity through security-related systems, and respond to incidents with clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification as required, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.

Monitor lobby activity and front entrance conditions, report suspicious or unusual behavior, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and professional communication.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services when needed and completing required notifications.

Operate and monitor security-related systems at the front desk such as phones, radios, CCTV, and alarm panels, and complete accurate shift logs and incident reports per Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
