Job Title: Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist

Location: Santa Ana, CA | On-Site

Schedule: 6 month contract | Monday-Friday | 8 AM-5 PM

Pay Rate: $30.00-$32.50 per hour

What You'll Do

Conduct outbound B2B collections calls to manage past-due accounts professionally and effectively

Accurately assign AR invoices to customer accounts and resolve billing inquiries with speed and accuracy

Review contracts and account history to ensure billing and collections align with agreed terms

Analyze account data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for resolution

Prepare and manage lien notices, lien waivers, and related documents to protect company rights and ensure timely payments

Ensure compliance with state-specific lien laws and track lien deadlines and releases

Negotiate and structure payment plans while promoting positive client relationships

Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to resolve issues and ensure contract compliance

Support team goals and take ownership of special projects across departments

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED required

3-5 years' experience in collections, billing, AR, or customer account support

(Experience in construction a plus)

Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, TCR, or Great Plains preferred

High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
