Job Title: Electrical Mechanical Assembler Job Description

The primary purpose of the Electrical / Mechanical Assembler is to assemble electrical and sheet metal sub-assemblies using a variety of special tools and fixtures to advance products to the next level of production.

Responsibilities

Build all components to customer specifications.

Assemble electrical components and sheet metal parts.

Perform soldering of glass into cases and induction brazing.

Review electrical drawings for the capability of quoting new work.

Perform other duties as needed.

Essential Skills

Minimum one year of experience working in aerospace manufacturing.

Two years of experience assembling electrical components.

Two years of soldering experience.

One year of mechanical assembly experience.

Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics.

Ability to take directions and work independently or within a production cell.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Fluent in reading and speaking English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with epoxy and adhesives for assemblies is a plus.

Experience with glass for cockpit displays is a plus.

Induction brazing experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment requires performing visual inspections of products with corrected vision of 20-20. The role necessitates the ability to lift 40 lbs regularly and to stand or sit for long periods. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required, and overtime work may be necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
