Now Hiring 1st Shift Material Handler!

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the order fulfillment process. Your tasks will include picking and packing orders, logging orders, operating sit-down forklifts, performing quality inspections, and organizing materials. You will be responsible for reading orders, locating parts in the warehouse, scanning, and loading them. Additionally, you may utilize a saw to cut materials as needed.

Responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately.

Fulfill orders and ensure timely logging and tracking of all shipments.

Operate a sit-down forklift to move and organize products.

Conduct quality inspections to maintain product standards.

Read and interpret orders, locate parts, and ensure accurate scanning and loading.

Organize materials and products within the warehouse.

Utilize a saw to cut materials when necessary.

Essential Skills

Experience in manufacturing environments.

Proven on-the-job forklift operating experience.

Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to effectively handle data and balancing tasks.

Good tenure in previous roles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and hand tools.

Experience with warehouse inventory and material handling.

Experience with production, unloading, and shipping/receiving.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment is diverse, with half of the space being climate controlled. Please note that conditions can sometimes be dirty, hot, or cold, depending on the season.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hiawatha, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
